This is tremendous once again. I love the new features like interviews and high score competitions. Hope you get many more birthdays!

I'm glad you enjoyed the features and the issue!

Love this magazine, thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the platform.

While I absolutely applaud your decision to offer it for free, do you have a means to support the production? A donation option, KoFi, Patreon or something like that?

(+2)

I've asked this question in the past, and then I joined the team from issue two onwards.

May I ask if you would make a donation to either Mind in your local area, or a suicide prevention charity, if you like my reviews. A small donation of £1 is very welcome and could help support someone in a crisis.

consider it done

Thank you so much for your kind words. Everyone does it for the love of the ZX Spectrum and the scene that surrounds it, so there's no overheads.

I guess the ethos of the mag was to shine a light on the many and varied Speccy games that are currently being made, that might otherwise have gone under the radar. Knowing that folk are downloading & trying out some of those is appropriate remuneration. Also Shaun's idea about a charitable donation to Mind is also a good one.

Thanks again for your encouragement, it means a lot & keeps us going!

First of all, thanks to this magazine we can learn about the incredible number of titles being released for our beloved machine, the ZX Spectrum.

Thank you so much for publishing a short review of my humble first game, Cafetonic.

Thanks for the game, we had fun with it.
Can you help set Lee's mind at ease though - is the music original or based on something else?

hi,

Wonderful issue! And thanks for reviewing Elemental 2025!

Cheers and congrats! Writing a usable chemistry utility for the Speccy in 2026 is achievement enough, but making it one of the best for any platform is most definitely Aceworthy!

We know a lot more about elemental analysers then we did 3 months ago, that's for sure.

Although it did cost us a time machine.

"I think many of us saw ourselves as outsiders BITD, full of fire and with grand designs on beating the system. Fast forward to today, we wonder what happened as the reactionary dead eyes of a middle manager stare back at us in the bathroom mirror."
(page 49 - Welcome 2 The Machine)

That’s exactly what motivated me when I started the u_nvrz series — how did you figure that out, Dave?! :)

Hehe. We must share the same dead eyes and brand of premium sandalwood soap ÷)

Yes, yes, yes! I see that the texts in pdfs are selectable, copyable and searchable now, THANK YOU! Favourite zx mag got even more properly awesome!

I'm glad you're enjoying the mag. I enjoy helping to write some of it too.

And it only took us a year!

Thanks for sticking with us.
